OBS 2005 STREAK at Bricktown
Presented by the Oklahoma Bicycle Society

Sunday, September 11, 2005 100k & 100-mil rides -- 7:30 a.m. Fun Ride and 30-mile ride -- 8:30 a.m. Rain or Shine.

Event site and staging: BRICKTOWN, Oklahoma City
The corner of Reno & Styles Avenue, East of the SBC Bricktown Ballpark & South of Coca-Cola Event Center

Distances:
This year the OBS Streak will offer 100 mile, 100 k, 30 and 15 mile routes. All route distances are approximate. All routes will be clearly marked. The course will close at 3:30.

THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED RACE, but the 100-mile, 100k, and 30-mile routes will be timed for your information only. The non-timed 15-mile Family Fun Ride will use the new Oklahoma City River Trails. Maps for all routes are available here and will be available at registration.

Rest Stops:
Multiple rest stops will be located on the routes, with a restroom at each stop. Drinks and snack foods will be available. Sag support will be provided on 100-mile, 100K, and 30-mile routes.

Entry Fee: T-shirts for the first 600 registered entries.
$20 per person ($25 for tandem teams) if received by 09/02/2005
$25 per person ($30 for tandem teams) after 09/02/2005

12 years and younger are free (no t-shirt), but must be accompanied by an adult and must have entry/waiver form signed by an adult.
No rider allowed without signed entry/waiver form.

Safety and Health:
All riders must wear an protective helmet. Traffic control will be provided for key points, but all traffic laws must be obeyed. All routes will be open to motor vehicles. Please no personal support vehicles.

Packet Pickup:
Packets can be picked up on the day of the event at the event site between 6:00 am and 7:00 am.

Early pickup will be at Arvest Bank, 4301 West Memorial Road, OKC on Saturday, Sept. 10, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Arvest Bank will provide a free hamburger/hot dog cook-out from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm during early packet pick up and registration.

Beneficiary: Proceeds to benefit the Salvation Army of Oklahoma.

Prizes:
All riders are eligible for the many prizes donated by our sponsors. A random drawing will be held while the riders are out on the routes. Results will be posted on a prize board at the finish area. Be sure to check the prize board upon your return.

Awards:
Awards will be given for the 100 mile, 100km, and 30 mile male & female riders finishing 1st.

In order to control the quality and safety of our riders, registration will be limited to the first 1,000 riders.
